Making policies understandable

Offer versions of policies presented in plain language and translated into languages commonly prefered by students. Ensure that these documents meet accessibility standards that consider the needs of students with disabilities and diverse learning styles.

Participants often commented on how difficult the SV/SA policies are to understand, sometimes indicating that the language of the policies is particularly difficult for students for whom English is not a first language, or for students with difficulties reading.
