You know the signs before the incident
Participant 1: If I say that somebody is looking at me weirdly, I know...I feel like...not that everyone from Africa has been raped, but definitely, somebody has already gone through that.
Facilitator: Or, you know someone who has gone through it.
Participant 1: Yeah, so you kind of know the signs before the incident, like, if somebody is making you uncomfortable. So, make sure you listen when somebody is talking. Don't dismiss them just because it hasn't happened yet. If I say, "Oh, my professor is just being a bit..." [pause]
Facilitator: funny?
Participant 2: Yeah, funny or just saying funny stuff, exactly. Or, like, calling me in after hours.
