They made something simple very hard

For people with English as a second language, shouldn’t there be something that explains it [the policy]? Or like, certain translations or something to the most common languages? I know a lot of people obviously wouldn’t know this if it is their second language; and they wouldn’t understand it because there are complex words. They are not going to be taught this in ESL classes. [...] They made something simple very hard. It should be simple.

  • Offer versions of policies presented in plain language and translated into languages commonly prefered by students. Ensure that these documents meet accessibility standards that consider the needs of students with disabilities and diverse learning styles.
