Allowing alternate modes of disclosure
Provide and promote alternatives to face-to-face disclosures and reporting, such as disclosure by text messaging or online.
While some of the students we heard from would prefer to discluse and receive supports in person, others expressed that they would prefer the privacy afforded by a text-based mode of communication. Allowing for multiple modes of disclosure is one way of building SV/SA services that are responsive to the range of cultures present on university campuses.
