Being mindful that students disclose to friends
Present learning materials in a way that is helpful to a friend supporting a victim/survivor.
Participants confirmed what we have heard from many university-based service providers and administrators who work with university SV/SA policies: students who experience sexual violence often disclose to their friends. As such, it makes sense to present materials in a way that will be useful to students who recieve disclosures from their friends and who wish to provide support.
