Explaining what happens when there are multiple allegations against one person
Identify how long reports are kept on file and the process involved if/when responding to a report concerning a previously accused respondent.
Students often worried that, in one way or another, perpetrators of sexual violence would emerge from investigations relative unscathed, and go on to commit more sexual violence. Keeping reports on file so that university officials will be aware if multiple reports are filed against a single person is one way of addressing this concern suggested by participants.
