Outline the policy review process and timeline within the policy and educational materials.
Participants in our study expressed concerns, sometimes backed by first-person experience, about the possibility of long delays following a disclosure or report before services are made available, interim measures are put in place, or updates are received. Proving a timeline for policy implementation, or making students aware of this timeline if it already exists, could help to address these anxieties.
