Providing clarity about overlapping policies

Provide clarity about any situations where issues related to sexual violence or harassment, whether online or in-person, would fall under other university policies.

Many participants observed that sexual harassment, both online and in-person, is a major problem faced by university students today. They wondered what, if anything, their university SV/SA policies had to say about these issues. In some cases, in-person and online harassment might not be covered by SV/SA policies, but might be covered by other policies instead. The existence of related policies should be made clear to students, for example by having links to policies appear side-by-side on university websites with the purpose of each policy clearly identified.
