Supporting those who receive disclosures
Make supports available to members of the university community who receive disclosures, or raise awareness of these supports within university communities where they already exist.
The supports and information available to members of the university community who receive disclosures should not only provide opportunity for recipients of disclosure to debrief, but should provide information about how to support a survivor, while emphasizing the importance of maintaining the victim/survivor’s confidentiality.
