Participant 1: I think generally it is really difficult to find a friend who has a social harassment experience. [...] Its important to get support from your friend, but it's difficult to find professional help. So, I wish there was a group or community, who actually had experience and could be one of the teams that could be found on campus to support people like us who need help. Instead of only looking for a friend.
Facilitator: Yes, we need support from our friends, parents and the professional community like SMU security, NS victims association, SMU counselling services and NS sexual services. If you want to use these resources, I can send them after this discussion is finished.
Participant 1: Yes, these are really professional - maybe too professional. Students may be too afraid to talk to those huge departments. So, I wish there was a group of student teams who volunteered to talk to students, share experiences and be good listeners, because we have similar experiences and that would be easier for people or for students to communicate.
