Have these discussions every semester

We should spread this information to students. Whether this can be in class or we can plan an evening every semester so that the students can learn things. If someone takes 15 or 20 minutes of class time to have an actual talk about it, students would learn. In addition to the first week at SMU, we can have these discussions every semester- just give it a few minutes before the semester starts and they can remember it for the entire semester.

Recommendations

  • Use multiple formats to deliver accessible education about the SV/SA policy during orientation and at least once per semester
