We can be a bit too nosy
Something I think also happens in the Latin community is that sometimes we can be a little bit too nosy, like, we want to know what happened just for our sake, but we should be, as a friend, we should think of the trauma that the person is experiencing and if they don’t want to share too much, if they just want someone to talk to and a safe place, just to feel safe, they don’t necessarily have to tell us everything, but they know we are trying to help them unconditionally, we want them to be safe and we don’t want anything back from the help.
