What kind of evidence does this policy apply to?

What kind of evidence does this policy apply to and how we can intervene in each situation individually? I mean because sometimes the only evidence is just the victim's written word or what they say. [...] And I don’t know how we can deal with that, when after being abused or something, the victims, what they say is not clear enough for us to fully understand about the case. So, how can we deal with that?

Recommendations

  • Provide students with information about what can serve as evidence of sexual assault for the purposes of a university investigation. This information should appear in the policy itself and in educational materials about the policy.
