What level of confidentiality is maintained?

What level of confidentiality is maintained within the cases? 'Cause the team behind investigations consists of so many members. So, as you said, there needs to be some kind of integrity for the issues not to be disclosed anywhere outside the counsel, which might be better for the reputation [...] so, how do you ensure that part? Is there any particular- if someone gets to know, like, about about any particular case, and if someone on the team itself is not meant to be spreading such news, is there any particular thing or action that can be taken against them?

Recommendations

  • Use an app or other tool that allows students to anonymously ask questions about sexual violence and university policies against sexual violence.

  • In the policy itself and in materials and presentations promoting the policy, define "confidential" and "anonymous," and explain how these concepts pertain to the policy, university-based sexual assault services, and the limits on confidentiality and anonymity.
