When I asked the question, it went a little bit quiet

I’ve just kinda been in a group before, and I’ve asked a question that was specific to, um, non-binary resources or trans resources in particular, for sexual assault and harassment. [...] And when I asked the question, it went a little bit quiet, because [...] they weren’t really sure and then I was directed to email somebody else about it and because they weren’t educated on trans and non-binary resources in particular and yeah, it can kinda be a little bit discouraging and a little bit embarrassing when you’re put on the spot and told to ask somebody else because [inhale] because y’know, duh, they don’t really know [inhale]. [...] It can be a bit discouraging to be directed to email somebody else, because it can be hard already to ask those kinds of questions, and then having to email somebody about it just to be directed to somebody else, or be told that they’re not really sure.
