My name is Julie Baribault. I am from Saint John NB. I was a Domestic Female Research assistant on this Project. I am a 4th year Honours student at Cape Breton University majoring in Community Studies and Sport and physical activity leadership. My Capstone and Honours thesis has been focused on Survivors of Sexual Violence being empowered to share their stories and building a supportive survivorship community.
I have worked with community organizations to promote awareness around Domestic and Sexual Violence. After graduation I hope to continue to work and to research in this area to help support survivors. I am proud to have been a member of the research team.
