Katie Allen (she/they) is the Sexual Violence Prevention Student Liaison at Mount Saint Vincent University. They are in their fourth and last year of their Bachelor of Arts in Women's Studies, planning to graduate in the Spring. Katie has been in her role as the Sexual Violence Prevention Student Liaison for over three years, but her interest and advocation surrounding issues related to sexual health and relationship wellness precede her time at MSVU through her volunteer work with the Colchester Sexual Assault Centre. Their time in the Women's Studies program at the Mount has allowed them to expand their knowledge within their area of interest, but outside of it as well, enabling them to develop a more complex understanding of how systems of oppression operate and how they can harm our relationships."
