My name is Yiying and I am from Saint Mary's University. My major is finance but, at the same time, I am really interested in gender studies. I always keep an eye on news and articles related to female or gender topics. I was a research assistant in the CAPSAP project and responsible for recruiting and facilitating group meetings.
Sexual violence sounds like a sensitive topic in daily life, but the CAPSAP community is a place you are welcome to share your opinions and exchange ideas with others. You can feel free to voice and devote an effort to avoid silence with the CAPSAP group. I really enjoyed having discussions with my group members and I must say everyone’s perspectives were valued.
In addition to my group members, I also met many students who were from different countries and appreciated that I had a chance to hear different people’s opinions on sexual violence and how they viewed relevant policies. Join us and start a new journey!
