It is impacted by where you are from
I do agree that it is impacted by where you are from. I’m not sure about anyone else here, but I did school and I spent a significant majority of my time in West Africa, like different countries, and I would notice the behaviour in students and teachers, or just among students and other students. The behaviour would be, like, they touch you, but then if you get annoyed about it, [they] would say, "Oh I’m just playing; you are just being so sensitive." [...] So, when I went to North America and I observed also schools in Europe, when I shared those kinds of stories, they’d be like, "Uhm, that’s not appropriate behaviour at all," and I’d be like, "oh, I thought that was a normal thing!" I guess is just different depending on where you are from and how the situation is handled, so yeah.
