Participant 1: But what kind of sexual assault is here?
Facilitator: If anyone tries to touch your friend, like, that is a problem.
Participant 1: I mean like, come on guys. We are all from the Caribbean here! I'm sure you've been groped in the club before. I think there is a different level here.
Participant 2: Yeah, that's true!
Participant 3: By the time you turn around, they're already gone.
Participant 1: Like, if a guy approaches me some kind of way because of how I'm dressed, that's not right, but still, you have to brace yourself for that.

Ensure all sexual violence prevention and response education and training opportunities actively deconstruct victim-blaming, rape myths and gender norms. Ensure these sessions take an intersectional approach to understanding sexual violence and supporting victim/survivors.
