List some contents of the criminal law

In my opinion, the sexual assault policy only explains in detail what is sexual assault. I think maybe it should be necessary to list some of the contents of the criminal law against these sexual assaults so that one can understand its seriousness. [...] I think we should increase publicity because many, many students don’t know that these services are available and they don’t know where to go to find help. That’s all.

Recommendations

  • Display QR codes providing immediate access to on- and off-campus supports and policy information in high-traffic areas on campus.

  • Deliver accessible education about Canadian sexual assault laws, including how they work, and the ways they tend to fail survivors in practice.

  • Create and promote avenues for comprehensive consent education.

  • Use multiple formats to deliver accessible education about the SV/SA policy during orientation and at least once per semester
