Men, overall, might be more dismissive

I think men, overall, might be more dismissive of sexual violence policies, because sexual violence is often seen as a women’s problem. Um, so, men, like, sexual violence, would never be something that they would think of in the first place, where as women tend to think about it a little bit - it’s a little bit more forefront in their minds ‘cause it’s something that they have to experience a lot more often. So, I think men would also be, like, "Woah, there’s something that just says this?

  • Outline the policy review process and timeline within the policy and educational materials.

  • Engage with student leaders from diverse cultural backgrounds and genders when revising policy content and associated services. Ensure the concerns raised by these students are foregrounded in policy development and application.
