Progressive and conservative values
I guess people in this group [are] saying "progressive South Indians," but there are lot of South Indian people who wouldn’t think this progressively, and wouldn’t be comfortable with all of this, and who have different opinions. Because we come from a country where culture and tradition holds a strong value. [...] I guess understanding the cultural differences is something that they [university staff who work with sexual assault policies] can consider to work on.
