What’s the timeline from the time of reporting or disclosure to actually coming to a result? [...] You need to know how long the process is. Do you have to be in the same class, because the person who did it is still in that class? Is it going to take that whole semester? Is it going to take an entire year? Or, will the immediate action be taken that would give more confidence to the victim to know that their concern is being looked into and it's something serious, so immediate action needs to be taken.

Within the policy and educational materials, provide information about possible timeframes for the completion of an investigation into a report of sexual assault. Deliver regular, scheduled updates on investigations to complainants and respondents. Such updates should be integrated into the policy.
